Bloom Financial

6 Years

February 3rd, 2014.  I'll never forget that day.  I was 28 years old.  I just left the company that hired me right out of college.  I had no income and no clients.

February 3rd, 2014 was one of the most difficult, yet exciting, days of my life.  That is the day that I started my company, Bloom Financial, and partnered with Woodbury Financial to be my back office and support team.

Not having any clients or income was very scary.  That was my "leap of faith" moment.  I was basically starting over from scratch.

In my first year of being a financial advisor, Saturday mornings were spent in the office.  Evenings were spent in the office or on meetings.  That trend continued into my second year and third year in the business.  I was really motivated to help people.  Listen to people.  My career started in the 2008 during the financial crisis.  What a time to start your career in the financial services industry, right?  Actually, it turned out to be a great time because people truly needed help and guidance.  I'm really grateful to the people who gave me a chance to help manage their money during the first couple years of my career.  I'm still grateful to this day.  I truly get to work with some of the best clients around.  I love helping and working with my clients.

Fast forward to 2020.  February 3rd, 2020 is Bloom Financial's 6-year anniversary!  Woo Hoo!  I’ve been able to focus on retirement income planning over the past six years.  Helping others plan for their retirement income is so much fun.  It is amazing when you have the ability to retire on your own terms because you have your income streams in place.

Leaving Prudential to start my own firm was a risk.  It was very difficult for me because I had such a great relationship with so many people there.  I’m really happy that I still have friends that I keep in touch with from my prior firm.  Overall, if it wasn't for my clients trust, compassion and support, making the transition would of been a lot more difficult.  I want to say THANK YOU if you are a client.  If you're not a client at this time, I'd love to have the opportunity to help you Retire As You Desire.  That is my passion - helping others live the lives that they desire in retirement.

Lastly, I want to say THANK YOU to my wonderful wife Jude and my family.  Their support has been unwavering throughout these past six years.  I wouldn't be where we are today without your love and support.
